Claire Kean is a fully qualified and accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator. She is registered with the CMC to practice both in the UK and Internationally and is also trained in Workplace and Employment Mediation.
She has additionally worked in family and couple mediation and to date has a 100% record in reaching a resolution. Claire is both a Trustee and Tutor at the Society of Mediators at 218 Strand and is currently in the process of becoming a Magistrate.
Claire has special interest in Medical Negligence and the working environment in a hospital or medial setting alongside complex Tax Disputes and internal company issues. Her approach is calm, yet pro-active, with incredible attention to detail and 100% belief in resolution over lengthly and costly litigation.
She is currently involved in the development of a co-mediation approach using a combined team of ‘expert in field’ and mediator, to allow for a high level of subject matter expertise alongside the ‘pure’ model of mediation, giving clients both confidence in understanding, whilst maintaining clarity of the mediation goal.
Away from work Claire spends a lot of time on the netball court as both a regional player and an umpire in London and the Southeast.
